Welcome to my website – the renewableenergysystems.net – home of our Renewable Energy Systems Store.
I am, sort of, an international citizen – Born in Ethiopia, had my basic education in Somalia, had my tertiary (university) education in chemical Engineering in IRAQ, did my postgraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at the university of Toronto, Canada, worked for the largest fertilizer company in Qatar for many years, and now retired and living in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
After little background search, I concluded that Wealthy Affiliate (WA) has the right business tools that, I think, I need at this stage. WA has a wealth of training material, knowledgeable community members and a strong desire to help. It operates like a community of like-minded people, who are helping each other. I have been encouraged by the level of support and interactions I have had since I signed on to WA in March 2018.
My intention is to use WA business tools, and the WA community support, to establish an online business that helps people in the area of Renewable Energy Systems.
How we can help people
My Chemical Engineering education background and my experiences as an executive in the operations and management of one of the largest fertilizer complexes in the world, has given me the opportunity to deal with many complex energy-related projects. Industry and government leaders around the world are actively engaged in economic Renewable Energy alternatives to fossil fuels, which have negative impact on climate and environment. There had been tremendous growth in the Renewable Energy sector in the last 15-20 years. We want to be part of this exciting Renewable Energy growth. We intend to design the contents with special emphasis on improving product education and the right product selection.
My Reference Case
My farm is located in a remote area of East Africa (Horn of Africa), where there is no electricity, no source of surface water, and no road networks. The land is virgin (never been farmed before), and soil is very fertile. How do you make the land productive under the conditions of total lack of infrastructure? My case is by no means unique. There are millions who are facing the same challenge as I did. Renewable Energy provides a competitive solution, cost wise, in these kind of scenarios.
The two pictures below tell the rest of the story. The first one is an array of solar panels that powers the drive that drives the deep water pump located at a depth of 150 meters. The second picture is a healthy papaya tree from the farm.
The moral of this story is that Renewable Energy can have a tremendous impact on the lives of millions of people, no matter where they happen to be located.
